Open House @ Jeff Ryder’s Drum Shop

We will be hosting a P.Ellis Drums open house at Jeff Ryder's Drum Shop on Saturday April 21 from 11-4. All P.Ellis Drums will be on 20% off the listed prices!

We'll have a few kits set up so you check them out and get a hands on experience. We'll have some of artists at the shop with their kit to talk about their experience with P.Ellis Drums.

We'd love for you to come hang out with us and try out our drums!

P. Ellis Drums at The Frank Erwin Center for Easter!

I just wanted to invite you all to the Frank Erwin Center this Sunday (April 8th) at 10:30am (doors open at 9:30) for the Austin Stone Easter service!

I'll be playing my P.Ellis Drums with Aaron Ivey. I know it's early for most drummers but here are some reasons you should come:

Jesus is ALIVE!
It's the Frank Erwin Center
It's gonna be a party
It's going to be a great place to hear P.Ellis Drums for yourself (on an arena quality sound system)
There is gonna be a string section
I'd love to meet you

Had a great time and heard some amazing bands this year. Here are a couple pictures from our experience.

Kenny Davis Gets New P. Ellis Drums!

Casey and I headed to Ft. Worth last Wednesday to deliver Kenny's new kit to him before he played a show with Josh Kelley.

Kenny's Kit is:

24×16, 12×9, 14×14, 16×14 – All maple shells with maple reinforcement rings installed. His kit is wrapped in a black diamond/pearl wrap and have beaver tail lugs. (you may have noticed he doesn't have the P. Ellis badge installed yet, that's because we have newly designed badges on the way!)

We were able to hear a little of the sound check before we came back to Austin for SXSW, and those drums sounded HUGE! Go see Kenny play with Josh Kelley!

P.Ellis Drums @ SXSW 2012

P.Ellis Drums will once again be partnering with the good folks at Matchbox Entertainment to bring you the 2nd annual Matchbox showcase at SXSW this year.

Our drums will be used all day at the Dirty Dog on Thursday March 15th. I'll have a booth set up at the Dirty Dog showcasing some of our latest snare drum creations, along with some P.Ellis T-shirts! Come by and say hello!
