Tomorrow I will be helping judge the Guitar Center Drum Off Competition at the Anderson Lane Guitar Center. It starts around 6:30…come on out and hang out, and hear some great local drummers trying to compete for a spot to advance to the district finals in October!

Wednesday – P.Ellis Drums will be providing drums for the Andy Davis show at Stubbs BBQ. This will be a great show to hear our drums being played by some great drummers along with some great bands, in a great venue! We hope to see you there!

OCTOBER 7th – P.Ellis Drums will be providing drums for a few artists at the MUSIC FOR THE CITY show at the Parish. (I will also be playing drums for Miranda Dodson AND Jason Poe that night! The Parish is my favorite music venue in Austin to hear live music, so I would highly recommend going to this show if you a) like to listen to music through a great sound system controlled by extremely competent sound engineers, b) want to play a part in bringing hope to the city of Austin. (this is benefit show for Mobile Loaves and Fishes), c) want to hear what a huge 20" P.Ellis floor tom sounds like (Courrier plays a 20" P.Ellis Floor tom….it's huge)

I now leave you with a beautiful picture of a set we just made for Stonegate Fellowship in Midland, TX. Sizes: 12×9, 14×12, 16×14, 22×18. All drums have maple re-rings. This set sounds great…and I will have a recording to actually show you how great they sound soon! I used this set at a drum session at Wire Recording here in Austin the other day…I'm very pleased with the drums!
